Rossiter Shoulder Workout

The picture below is  of a workout on the shoulder.  This stretch is actually the last in a sequence of work on the arm.

The first stretches begin on the forearm to release tension in the hands and forearm muscles.  The next set of stretches involves the upper arm doing moves to release your tight biceps.  The final stretch involves the shoulder.

Why not just do work on the shoulder?  In your everyday life, do you ever just move your shoulder?  I don't think so.  The shoulder is engaged when you move your arms.  Any restrictions in your arms will affect the ability of your shoulder to move.

You can see how the heel of the foot is locking into shoulder area.  The effort of moving the arm will stretch the muscles of the shoulder including: pectorals, biceps, and rotator cuff muscles.   (I can tell you that you will build-up a sweat!)

The stretch  opens up the shoulder in a unique way.  You will feel discomfort in areas that you did not know that you had.  That said, you will be surprised at how free the shoulder will feel after the workout!

Try a session yourself with your local Rossiter Coach.
